Apple Pie Spiced Overnight Oats
Overnight oats are more than just a trend. They are a great grab-and-go breakfast option that will keep you full until lunch.
They are so easy to make - no baking required.
Whether you’re making a single serving or 5 days worth of breakfast, overnight oats is a meal prep savior.
Ingredients:
For the topping:
1. In a small saucepan, add the diced apples, date syrup, ad cinnamon
2. Cook apples on a low flame until soft - about 8 minutes
3. Turn off the heat and put aside
4. In a small bowl, mix together oats, date syrup, and plant based milk
5. Add in almond butter, vanilla, and spices, and mix to combine
6. Portion into two glasses or jars
7. Top with your cooked apples
8. Cover and refrigerate overnight
Optional: decorate with cinnamon stick
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup plant-based milk
- 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
- 2 tbsp date syrup
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp vanilla
